Creation of an in-restaurant ordering system

For this project I had to design and code a responsive menu/ordering system for a restaurant. I spent about 4 weeks on this project and I decided to create something for the restaurant Brew’d Boulcott as it was a place I was quite familiar with, and we were amidst a COVID-19 lockdown so I wasn’t able to check out any different places.

I used multiple different UX research processes such as surveys, group discussions and interviews to figure out target audiences and what kind of things people would be wanting in an ordering system. As for the design, I used this yellow/black/white colour blocking theme as it was similar to their logo and online menu vibe at the time and using the off-white and off-black made it very easy on the eyes. I went through multiple iterations of user testing from my low-fi mockups through to the final product to get it as perfect as possible.
